Admission Results Can Need Daunting Decisions
It has been an amazing week! The fantastic College Admissions Scandal of 2019 broke a week ago — the annual amount of admission decisions — and stones on . A college that is historic confidential thread, now approaching 3,000 (!) articles, has analyzed all facets with this ‘pay to relax and play’ fiasco, from both a parent’s and pupil’s perspective.
Needless to say the media happen having a field time with all of this, too. In reality, it’s uncommon that one may select a news site, nevertheless, without seeing some sort of story linked to the scandal. Pupils are suing universities, moms and dads are suing colleges, universities are rescinding admissions, etc. It’s a advanced schooling three-ring circus.
Plus, the timing could not be more perfect, or awful, according to which part you’re on. Next week, the Ivy League spring choices will come away, along side those of other so-called ‘elite’ schools. These ‘elites’ are in the scandal’s bullseye. Hence, one possible metaphor for next week’s pending decisions could be compared to a rocket on the launch pad with its engines pre-ignited, prepared for the shackles holding it back to launch and invite liftoff.
